The hostel was conveniently located near popular attractions and transportation options. It was easy to navigate around the city and explore different areas. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing clear instructions and offering assistance when needed. The communal areas were cozy and provided a great atmosphere for socializing with other guests. the breakfast provided in the morning was a nice touch, offering a variety of options to start the day.
There were a few drawbacks to my stay at the hostel. the mixed dorm room layout was not ideal as the bunks were open to the ceiling, allowing for limited privacy.

I recently stayed at Kaisu during my 5-day trip to Tokyo. The location is excellent, situated on a quiet backstreet but still within walking distance to the metro and city center. The hostel itself is beautifully designed, with a stylish lobby and bar serving delicious food and drinks. The capsules were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the staff incredibly friendly. I also enjoyed the free simple breakfast they offered. it was the best hostel experience I had in Tokyo and I would definitely stay here again.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Friendly staff, clean facilities, great location in Akasaka, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. Comfortable sleeping areas and modern common areas for relaxation. English-speaking staff, simple but good breakfast options, and a convenient bar. The bedpods and bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. Plus, a female-only bathroom option available.

kaisu was just as amazing as my last stay - modern and clean with spacious beds. the bathrooms and showers were top-notch. the location was perfect for exploring the city. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great suggestions. overall, a charming atmosphere with a cozy bar area.
Small sink in washroom made it difficult to wash hands without wetting floor.

I recently stayed at a charming and cosy non high-rise building called Kaisu and it exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient for exploring the city and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The basic breakfast provided was a nice touch and the dormitory accommodation offered a unique and pleasant experience. Despite being in a dormitory, all the other guests were considerate and quiet. Although there were a few minor drawbacks such as the lack of a clear cancellation policy and a fee for towels, these did not significantly impact my overall experience. I would definitely recommend Kaisu to budget travelers looking for a great value in Tokyo.

The hostel had extra female dorms, which was perfect for my travel purpose. The staff were very nice and the bar was lovely. The hostel was exceptionally clean and neat, creating a comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The bed in the shared female dorm was private and comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. it was a great experience.

The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku, and Tokyo Station. The atmosphere was relaxed and I felt safe leaving my belongings in the dormitory. The free breakfast, though basic, was a great way to start my day of adventure. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I highly recommend this hostel.

I loved the cozy atmosphere at this hostel, with a café/bar and common areas perfect for mingling. The events they organized brought in people from outside the hostel, creating a lively atmosphere.
Felt right at home here, no complaints.

The hostel had a cool, laid-back atmosphere and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The place was always clean and well-maintained. The coffee they served was great, and there were plenty of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area, making it a convenient location for nightlife. Additionally, the hostel was located in the middle of the city, making it easy to get to anywhere in less than 30 minutes.
The breakfast could have been better, as it was nothing special and could use more variety. Another downside was that the top cabin beds had a slight issue with the lights from people arriving late, which disturbed sleep.
